Plant Supervisor
Summary
Responsible for ensuring the plant's operational continuity, stability, and improvements of a processing facility to accomplish the targeted goals of the corporative plan and company goals while adhering to the company vision, values, and safety requirements..
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Direct and coordinate activities of the businesses on the plant to achieve the predetermined production targets and preserve the reliability and availability of the compressors and facilities.
- Supervise staff, preparing work plans and assigning specific duties and responsibilities as required
- Work with Country Manager & Advisors to set plans and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
- Monitor and control gas flow production, conditions, and specifications always ensure they are within the contractual and designated agreements.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with clients and customers and handle third-party requirements when necessary
- Apply technical work experience and analytical skills to resolve moderately complex issues. Assesses problems and offers alternative solutions to meet targets or improve work.
- Inform the manager of any work order requirements and services for the plant
- Maintain cleanliness, order and housekeeping of all critical equipment's and the plant
- Set up daily, weekly, and monthly reports and meetings to ensure plant performance
- Follows standard methodologies but may modify or deviate from these methodologies to resolve problems.
- Ensure adherence to Emergency Response Team (ERT) roles and responsibilities
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum Mechanical diploma with a Minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in a similar environment
- Proven experience in O&M of Waukesha, Caterpillar, Ariel compressors. Certified GE Warranty Claims is a plus
- Experience in repairing and operating engines & compressors
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus
- Strong Hands on & troubleshooting experience
- Intermediate knowledge of PC tools as, and not limited to, Microsoft office word and excel. Ability to prepare comprehensive reports
- Strong leadership ability to maintain day to day activities and keep O&M team motivation in a multicultural environment
- Able to work under pressure without supervision and with the team developing improved work processes for the department
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills, proactive, motivated, organized, strong problem-solving skills, positive and respectful. Results oriented with strong time management and customer-facing skills
- Set up daily, weekly, and monthly reports and meetings to ensure plant performance
Physical Requirements
Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours and vibrating platforms.
Different shift schedules.
