O & M Engineer

 

Summary

Responsible for all aspects of plant engineering such as and not limited to providing technical reviews, optimization of plant process and equipment, plant performance through data evaluation, trending and analysis. Additionally, ensure the DCS functions for all safety and process control systems, lead all shutdown coordination and execution and manage plant projects that require construction and commissioning. Guarantee all inspection and testing and adherence to the asset integrity plan    

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Develop performance metrics to ensure all plant performance is measured, corrected and reported by ensuring that all necessary data is captured, organized and visualized in order to have real time understanding of the physical state of the plant 

Manage and share necessary reports with the Asset Team, Engineering and Management to comprehend the production and equipment status.

 

Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelor or Technical degree in Engineering

Minimum 5 years of supervisory/lead experience in a similar roles in the Gas sector         

Remote  site working conditions, noisy environment, hot and humid climate, vibrating platforms, long working hours and different shifts schedules. Available on call                                                                 

Able to work under pressure on multiple tasks with the team in developing improved work processes for the department                                                                                                                                     

Computer proficiency is required. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft suite of software is required                                                                                                                     

Trained and competent to assume stand-in of O&M Lead when required                             

Motivated, team player, able to work within a diverse cultural environment and supervise a team
