Mechanical Technician

Summary

Support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing/servicing and optimizing all facilities rotating and static equipment, in a safe and orderly fashion as per the HSE standards and Enerflex and project requirements.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Perform safe and productive operation and maintenance activities on Solar Mars 100 gas compression packages 
and supporting equipment

Perform preventative/planned, corrective maintenance and supporting operations leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals

 Provide technical knowledge and decision-making capabilities to troubleshoot a variety of natural gas turbines, engines and compressors

 Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as the natural gas engines, turbines, compressors, and pumps

Enter information into CMMS data base. Creating and closing work orders in CMMS/SAP, completing service reports

Work with mechanical supervisor to develop procedures and ideas on improving overall maintenance program

Develop and follow procedures and processes as directed by Supervisor and Project design requirements

Assist with equipment and plant operations and troubleshooting 

Qualifications

Technical or Engineering degree in related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar environment

Strong maintenance experience on Solar Mars 100 gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and processing equipment

Fluent in written and spoken English and  Arabic is a plus

Strong familiarity with O&M activities in a turbine based gas compression plant

Able to work under pressure, team player, positive and respectful

Motivated, organized, strong problem-solving skills, positive and respectful 

Physical Requirements

Remote  site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours, on call after hours
