Job Summary

Responsible for fully performing the assigned maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization tasks on mechanical equipment in compliance with company procedures to achieve availability and reliability targets. Maintain effective communication with the Supervisor and Operations Team to ensure reliable, safe, and trouble-free facility operation.

 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance activities on rotating and static mechanical equipment, including engines, compressors, turbines, and pumps, following the O&M procedures and recommendations. 
  • Coordinate and plan maintenance activities with the O&M lead, provide necessary support for scheduling and task execution as directed.
  • Perform critical Mechanical activities without supervision; Engine levels1,2,&3 PM’s, Compressors levels 1,2,&3 PM’s.
  • Follow establish O&M instructions.
  • Able to work at different Bahrain locations or outside Bahrain, as Enerflex Operational & Maintenance needs.
  • Participate in Root cause analysis of routine problems and failures
  • Collaborate with Operations and E&I teams to perform maintenance activities as per instructions and guidelines.
  • Perform troubleshooting and recommend actions to prevent equipment failures.
  • Handle and maintain tools and equipment used for performing maintenance activities
  • Identify, report and correct any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
  • Create work orders in SAP as directed and relay the required information to planners to update in CMMS/SAP.
  • Participate in the development of procedures and strategies for improving maintenance programs.
  • Identify the required spares, tools and manage the stocks through CMMS (SAP).
  • Monitor the performance of all mechanical equipment through daily logs.
  • Conduct the regular daily, weekly, monthly, and annually checks based on the pre-planned schedules.
  • Ensure housekeeping and plant cleanliness during / after maintenance.
  • Maintain continuous and adequate interaction with the clients and customers as required/designated by Supervisor.
  • Follow the ERT roles and responsibilities assigned by the site management.
  • Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.

 

Job Skills, Qualifications and Experiences

  • Minimum a technical degree in mechanical or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of reciprocating engines, compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment within Oil & Gas industry .
  • Hands on Knowledge of Caterpillar, Waukesha engines, Ariel, Superior, and Dresser Rand compressors. Familiarity with Solar Mars 100 gas turbines and centrifugal compressors is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem-solving and information analysis interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of Maintenance Management System (Work orders, Preventive/Corrective/and Predictive Maintenance) methodology .
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft suite of software is required.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good English commands, written and spoken. Arabic is a plus.
  • Motivated, team player, able to work within a diverse cultural environment.

  • Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours and vibrating platforms
  • Different shift schedules. Available on call
