Process Engineer

Summary

Process Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing industrial processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective production. They must have a deep understanding of the technical and engineering principles involved in the production process, as well as the ability to identify and solve problems.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Discuss with the Customer’s process engineer to assess existing processes.
Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.
Experience in 3D design software such STAAD Pro, AutoCAD.
Performing risk assessments.
Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems.
Perform pipeline route selection, trenching/ backfilling requirements, crossing design, and external corrosion protection design.
Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience 3-5 years in engineering or construction for industrial projects and other process industries.
Good understanding in using Design & Analysis computer software and Engineering Code of Practice
Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.

Job Specifications

Designing and planning piping systems for industrial projects.
Analyzing project specifications and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize gas and fluid flow and efficiency
