Mechanical Technician I

Summary

This position will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on mechanical equipment and utility systems.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
  • Replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications
  • Install machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications
  • Set up and operate machines, compressor, pump, alignment and adjust controls
  • Start machines and observe mechanical operation in coordination with FSO.
  • Clean machines and machine parts
  • Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
  • Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
  • Inspect or test damaged machine parts, pressure and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
  • Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information for commissioning and preservation reports.
  • Fill data for project daily report
  • Report IIR (Incident).
  • Report BBS (Behavior Based)

Qualifications

  • Age between 20 - 30 years
  • High Vocational or Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering
  • 0 - 5 year of working experience in Booster Compressors & Engines fields
  • Able to work in shifts.
  • Able to work Onshore/Offshore rotation.
  • Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Healthy and strong physical demands.
