Rotational Service Technician
Summary
The purpose of this position is to service and maintain large engines and compression equipment. You will be required to carry out inspections, serving and repairs in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and Occupational Health and Safety standards. You will also perform major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and ancillary components.

Core Purpose: As a Rotational Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, overhaul, diagnostics, and condition monitoring services on specialized equipment for our clients. This role involves working on customer sites around Australia and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on various models of Waukesha, Caterpillar, and White Superior gas engines and Ariel, IR, Gemini, Nuovo Pignone, and other gas compressors.
- Conduct quality repair work, troubleshooting, and tune-ups.
- Execute major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and compressor components.
- Create detailed reports upon completion of maintenance work.
- Commission new gas compression packages and/or equipment.
- Maintain company HSE standards and report any near misses or accidents immediately.
- Record and maintain all company-issued tools in good working order.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Mechanical trades qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on internal combustion engines.
- Willingness to work on customer sites around Australia and internationally.
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal development.
- Awareness of Workplace Health & Safety, Environment, Quality & EEO legislation.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience working hands-on with Waukesha or Caterpillar gas-fueled engines and compressors.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- OEM Gas Engine and Compressor training.
