Human Resources Generalist III

Summary

This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations and delivering a wide range of HR services across the employee lifecycle. This role works closely with employees and managers to ensure smooth HR processes, compliance with policies, and a positive employee experience

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Policy Development and Implementation

  • Create, review, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives and local labor laws.
  • Ensure that all policies are clearly communicated, accessible, and effectively implemented across departments.
  • Benchmark and recommend improvements to existing policies to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

HR Operations, Payroll & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in HRIS, ensuring proper documentation of visa-related documents, signed contracts, and their family documents.
  • Assist management with hiring forms, salary increases, termination checklist, and any other forms required.
  • Develops and facilitates solutions to inter/intra group issues/conflict; gives feedback to and coaches managers on effective and ineffective behaviors.

Recruiting and Internal Transfer Management:

  • Support recruiting efforts, interviews, and assist in selecting candidates to fill vacant positions.
  • Source, screen resumes and refer candidates to Managers depending on guideline set by Hiring Managers. Assist in initial interview and set up of appointments.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate travel, telephone screens and interviews and background checks.
  • Complete reference checks on any future considerations of employees and communicate with unsuccessful candidates.
  • Maintain resume files for future reference and openings.
  • Coordinate short-term positions with staffing agencies.
  • Develop job descriptions.
  • Prepares offer letters, employee new hire paperwork, status changes, terms, separation notices and other related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to introduce new employees to company policies and procedures.
  • Handling internal and cross-border transfers to Nigeria by creating new contracts and coordinating their relocation logistics, arranging visa sponsorship & medical insurance.

HR Projects & Process Improvements

  • Contribute to HR initiatives around digitization, standardization, and process efficiency.
  • Lead or support HR projects as assigned.

HR Reporting & Audit

  • Prepare basic HR reports, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Maintain accuracy in HR metrics and contribute to process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and legal requirements.
  • Support updates and implementation of HR guidelines.   
  • Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines

Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in interpreting and applying policies to problems
