Site Construction Supervisor (AMS)
Summary
The Site Construction Supervisor must have at least five (5) years of site construction supervision experience in the execution of medium and or large size Oil and Gas, Power, Compression or Balance of Plant Construction. The Site Construction Supervisor must have excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible to enforce all Federal, State, Local and Enerflex Safety, QA/QC, and environment programs.
- The primary site contact representing Enerflex.
- Supervises the Enerflex site team Safety/Quality/Supervision/Engineering/Administration)
- Interface with the client
- Manage all on site contractors.
- Confirm all owners and Enerflex procedures are being followed.
- Monitor and ensures site construction progress is being maintained.
- Establishes and leads weekly progress meeting with the client.
- Establishes and leads weekly progress meetings with site contractors.
- Ensures resources, construction materials/supplies and Enerflex supplied equipment/supplies are available to meet approved project schedule.
- Ensures all on site materials are properly received, logged, stored, and transferred to the contractors.
- Interface with Project Manager, Project Engineer, and others as required to provide feedback and solutions to unexpected issues.
- Reports i.e., Daily manpower and equipment reports, schedule updates, safe man hour reports, Equipment/Materials delivery reports, OS & D reports and other reports as required.
- Receive and review change orders received from subcontractors.
- Assist with creation as required of construction, commissioning, startup schedules and turn over plans.
- Ensure all Request for Information (RFI’s) are received, logged, and answered with in a 24-hour window (Some RFI’s may require home office support)
- Ensure change order request are reviewed and approved by the Project Manager prior allowing contractor to commence work.
- Close out any discrepancies found by owner’s inspectors.
- Assist Commissioning Manager & Team during commissioning and start up.
Qualifications
- Site Construction Supervisor must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications applicable to the project.
- The Site Construction Supervisor must be capably of establishing and holding meetings with the client and contractors; have good communication skills that includes the writing of daily and or weekly reports.
- Site Construction Supervisor should have good general computer skills, be capably of preparing field project reports as required; update home office project controls as required.
- Supervisor must have multi skill sets, i.e., civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical
Physical Requirements
Fast-paced field environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic travel and extended time spent on location is required.
