Reliability Analyst

Summary

The Reliability Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Reliability Manager with strategic customers and/or customers that require unit run time reports.  This individual will be accountable for setting up reliability meetings with customers, field operations and sales to go over identified information to ensure compliance with contractual MRA obligations. This position provides operational support by championing continuous improvement of operation’s practices.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

· Use data mining tools to collect data for further research and analysis

· Interpreting gathered data

· Finding patterns and trends in the data analyzed to identify problem areas to address

· Generate and deliver reports to managers as well as customers in a timely manner

· Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and live data to locate, identify and correct problems

· Reviews customer unit reliability reporting from telemetry systems

· Filter data to review underperforming units, filter out customer downtime issues

· Manage telemetry platforms and reporting to various entities including customers, operations, sales, etc

· Review unit status reports including downtime for the given period with EFX field personnel before the scheduled meeting

· Provide customers with downtime reporting

· Work with billing to verify, confirm downtime credit requests

· Participates in customer reliability review meetings

· Capture notes and report both internally and externally

· Maintain action items list for continuing improvement per customer

· Identification of gaps in the operation based on KPI metrics and current organizational operation strategy

· Escalation of non-reliability related gaps to appropriate personnel (data, behavioral, etc.)

· Prioritization of gaps to close or mitigate with continuous improvement projects

· Identify failure trends in unit downtime per type of units, components, failure modes, etc. and across the branches

· Provide analysis for failed component replacement with the same component or upgraded component

· Provide input to unit maintenance practices and timing relative to various compressor package components

· Review overall fleet reliability and reports to the organization as required

Qualifications

· BS/BA degree desired but not required.

· Experience in compression packaging, operations, service and rental preferred but not required.

· Strong Customer relations/external conflict resolution skills, including the investigation and rectification of customer reported issues and complaints.

· Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills

· Proven skills to interact effectively with other employees

· Ability to converse and collaborate with multiple departments and vendors spanning various disciplines

· High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis and reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts

· Ability to travel to the field for hands on experience may be required

· Experience with telemetry software, reporting and Power BI a plus but not required

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, preferably Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic travel is

possible on occasion.
