Quality Control Inspector - Painting and Shipping

Summary

This position will be responsible for the inspection of all components and assembled packages to ensure they have met all quality requirements such as company standard, Code, Engineering, specifications, and customer requirements.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct preliminary inspections for compliance with specifications for Enerflex painted products.
  • Conduct final inspections of painted products after assembly, disassembly, and applicable repairs.
  • P & I D inspections as needed for validation.
  • Inspect assemblies of compression units, production, and process and treating equipment prior to and after loadout per drawing, Enerflex standards, and specific project requirements.
  • Witness and verify boxing/crating/palletizing of falloff materials and document the same through pictures.
  • Perform final inspection after loadout to verify that no damage occurred during the loadout process. Pictures required.
  • Package inspection and release.
  • Provide mechanical technical support. 
  • Witness and verify preservation of equipment and materials.
  • Enforce standards, procedures, and processes.
  • Provide support to the production, engineering, purchasing and field groups. 
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two-to-three-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desired and/or CWI.
  • NACE Level 1 or 2 certification
  • Ability to review and understand design documentation i.e., P&ID’s, U&ID’s, GA’s etc. 
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to help develop solutions to problems encountered. Be a good team player.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office application software.

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general shop and office environments. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Occasional travel may be required.
