Process Improvement Analyst

Summary

The Process Improvement Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reporting and data integrity, and business processes across the organization. The candidate will support enterprise-wide initiatives including global IT projects, cross functional processes, and operational processes.  Success in this role requires the ability to interpret complex business processes, leverage data insights to identify improvement opportunities, and support change management efforts through documentation, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct audits of standard operating procedures and ongoing training needs to ensure consistency, compliance, and effectiveness of business processes.
  • Evaluate current-state business, operational, and system processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities across various functional areas.
  • Participate and contribute to cross-functional and cross-regional teams in an effort to solve complex problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including department managers, IT resources, and business users to understand current business challenges and identify opportunities using discovery, analysis and data.
  • Provide purposeful, accurate, and timely analysis in support of opportunities, initiatives, and implementations.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver analytical outputs that provide data-driven insights to support operational business processes, improvement opportunities, and company initiatives.
  • Document business deliverables such as process mapping, requirements gathering, process development, business cases, and process implementation plans.
  • Identify system and process gaps and propose solutions that align with business objectives and technology capabilities.
  • Perform and coordinate training stakeholders to ensure business processes are consistent.
  • Develop schedules and budgets for internal projects and encourage involved business users to maintain these once defined.
  • Present analytical findings, strategies, or processes in a simple, clear, and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Business Degree
  • Knowledge of various SAP modules
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite tools and applications

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
