Manufacturing Coordinator

Summary

Provides administrative support to manufacturing and support teams, ensuring smooth daily operations. Manages timekeeping, scheduling updates, payroll approvals, and staffing invoices. Serves as a liaison between HR, Payroll, and HSE while supporting employee engagement activities and facility needs.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Assist Manufacturing, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality Supervisors with daily operations.
Review daily timekeeping for hourly staff as required.
Update employee weekly schedule patterns as needed.
Ensure all time is approved to meet payroll and end of month deadlines.
Prepare and submit weekly temporary labor timesheets.
Process and code staffing invoices for approval and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure completion and proper filing of employee status change paperwork.
Serve as a liaison among HR, Payroll, and HSE for support needs.
Support the coordination and execution of employee engagement events throughout the year.
Manage employee uniforms, lockers, office supplies, and equipment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education

High school diploma required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or operations, preferably in Oil & Gas.
Experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety practices.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

Fast-paced general office environment and some industrial environment. This role involves some standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking.
It may also require lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 50 lbs. Many tasks are time-sensitive and demand quick response.
