HSE Training Coordinator
Summary
The purpose of the HSE Training Coordinator includes, but is not limited to, establishing and leading the training and development function at Enerflex, including the design and delivery of training to support HSE, operations, and employee development initiatives that reinforce Enerflex’s Health, Safety and Environmental programs-culture, growth strategies and client focused service.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintains a working knowledge of Company specific HSE standards, programs and goals by learning and applying HSE procedures as established by the Company.
- Promotes and fosters HSE policies, standards, and goals with programs throughout the Company and/or projects to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing Leadership and 3rd Party training providers to schedule necessary equipment certifications and recertifications to include heavy equipment, rigging, craft certifications etc.
- Maintains a documented overall training matrix of organization including specifications, requirements, curriculum, etc. Ensures that an accurate database of HSE training is maintained.
- Ability to develop training content as needed.
- Monitors and maintains progress reports of new hires as they progress through the Short Service Employee process.
- Identifies implements and maintains appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support HSE training needs.
- Continuously research best practices relating to HSE learning for implementation and ongoing design improvement.
- Assists in the development and upkeep of appropriate mandatory HSE training matrixes for all personnel;
- Provides training services to support the elements of the HSE Management System. Includes training related to OSHA, Emergency Services, Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Conducts all employees, contractor and visitor HSE orientations and job specific trainings.
- Perform Emergency Response Plan tasks as required.
- Monitor on -the -job training and mentoring of employees on work habits out in the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience and knowledge with workplace health and safety programs.
- Ability to train employees in a multicultural environment.
- Good presentation skills and versatile in using multi-media.
- Effective Communicator with ability to interact at all levels.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus.
- Computer literate and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Pro-active, energetic, strong enthusiasm and a passion for excellence.

Physical Requirements
Work environment consists mainly of operating plant environment.
The HSE Training Coordinator will work 40% of the time in an air-conditioned office and 60% (dependent on facility needs) of the time on the Production Shop floor or yard with no air-conditioning.
