Document Control Administrator
Summary
In accordance with the goals and initiatives set forth by the Company, Engineering Department and/or the Document Control Group; the Document Control Administrator will be responsible for guaranteeing documentation is methodically organized and aligned with Enerflex document management procedure and process.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
The Document Control Administrator will work under the direction of the Document Control Supervisor or their designate to support the following project functions:
- Maintain control of documentation related to engineering and manufacturing documentation
- Generate Bill of Material (BOM)
- Pull vendor documents from the BOM
- Build Electronic Data books for ECC projects as assigned
- Print, assemble and ship IOM and QC manuals
- Manage the Document Control mailbox and file incoming documents to project folder
- Process incoming and outgoing documentation
- Build relationships with Internal Stakeholders
- Provide project support to PDC’s as needed
- Prepare and manage documentation for off-site storage
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Attend weekly project meetings
- Track and expedite project deliverables
- Maintain project MDR
- Train new hires as needed
- Model and champion Enerflex core values
- Adhere to and promote Enerflex’s HSE policy
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two year associates degree in business or related field preferred
- At least 2-4 years’ experience in document control support preferred
- Experience with multiple document management systems preferred
- Exposure to the oil & gas industry would be preferred
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with multiple document management systems preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced with working in fast-paced environments demanding strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed
- Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior
- Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue
- Having a positive attitude, a desire to learn and be challenged
Physical Requirements
Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
