Director, Transformation and IT Governance

Enerflex is looking for an accomplished Director, Transformation and IT Governance to help shape how we operate, modernize, and grow.

As a member of the IT Leadership Team, you will work across the organization to turn strategy into execution, leading enterprise transformation across ERP modernization, process excellence, strategic portfolio governance, IT financial management, organizational change, SOX governance, and value realization.

This is more than a technology transformation role. You will work directly with business and technology leaders to simplify how work gets done, strengthen enterprise-wide processes and governance, and ensure our transformation investments deliver measurable and sustainable business value.

Responsibilities and Duties

Lead execution of the enterprise transformation roadmap, translating strategic priorities into actionable programs and measurable outcomes.
Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve performance, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
Partner with senior leaders in ES and EI business to align transformation priorities with business strategy.
Partner with Global Process Owners to standardize and optimize end-to-end business processes.
Drive simplification, automation, digitization, and continuous improvement.
Reduce unnecessary complexity and process variation across the enterprise.
Govern strategic business and technology investments.
Strengthen prioritization, investment discipline, resource allocation, and accountability.
Provide leadership and governance for ERP modernization and other major transformation programs.
Ensure investments deliver committed business outcomes.
Lead IT budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
Improve visibility into technology costs, investments, and value.
Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to strengthen SOX compliance and IT controls.
Lead organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption.
Establish clear measures of transformation success and benefits realization.
Partner with AI, Architecture, and technology teams to leverage AI, automation, analytics, and digital capabilities to create business value.

Qualifications

15+ years of leadership experience across enterprise transformation, business operations, consulting, program management, or technology.
Proven success delivering large-scale business and technology transformation.
Experience with ERP and enterprise process transformation.
Strong portfolio, financial, governance, and program-management capabilities.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions and geographies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Finance, or a related discipline.
Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; SAP transformation experience; process excellence or Global Process Owner experience; SOX and governance knowledge; Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or Prosci certification; experience in global or shared-services environments considered an asset.
