Completions Supervisor

Department: Assembly Team 3 
Referral Bonus: $500.00 USD

 

Summary

The Completions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the final stages of equipment fabrication and project

delivery within an oil & gas environment. This role supervises the completions team and shipping coordinators

while working closely with the paint and shipping departments to ensure projects are finished, inspected, and

delivered on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with safety requirements.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and supervise the completions team and shipping coordinators to ensure efficient workflow and on-time project completion
  • Coordinate daily activities between completions, paint, shipping, heat trace, and insulation teams
  • Work closely with the QA/QC department to ensure all products meet quality standards and inspection requirements prior to release
  • Oversee final assembly punch list completion, and turnover documentation
  • Ensure proper scheduling and execution of heat tracing and insulation in line with project specifications
  • Collaborate with the paint department to align coating schedules and ensure surface preparation standards are met
  • Coordinate with shipping department to ensure accurate staging, packaging, and on-time delivery of finished goods
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with Occupational Safety and Heal Administration (OSHA) standards
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred
  • 3–7+ years of experience in oil & gas manufacturing, fabrication, or related industry
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required
  • Strong understanding of fabrication completion processes, quality control, and shipping logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience with oilfield equipment (e.g., skids, compressors, pressure vessels, or piping systems)
  • Knowledge of coating/painting processes and standards
  • Familiarity with inventory and shipping systems (ERP or similar)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and deadlines
