Enerflex has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative Warehouse Manager responsible for the leadership and supervision of all aspects of operations including safety, quality, service, industrial relations and human resources, process management, distribution, maintenance, and continuous improvement along with the achievement of client delivery KPI’s.

The primary function of the role is to manage a safe, customer focused and cost-efficient Warehouse function ensuring customers’ requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.

 

About the role:

 

  • Managing daily operations of the warehouse (with 6 direct reports)
  • Analyse, monitor, and maintain all warehouse related data in SAP.
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods ensuring all processed picking slips with a high level of accuracy to Invoice/Delivery note status.
  • Overseeing staff in productivity
  • Manage stock, inventory controls and cycle count to ensure stock accuracy at the highest level.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping.
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Inventory control including:
    • Problem solve inventory discrepancies.
    • Validation and processing of stock adjustments and inventory write offs.
    • Maintenance of quarantined items and notification to parties of pending credits/returns/non-conformances
  • Provide inspired leadership for your team.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance & high morale.
  • Regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of various supply Warehouse & Inventory KPI data and performance
  • Provide a weekly summary of activities to Supply Chain Manager as an input into an overall Supply Chain weekly summary.

 

 

About you:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role in a spare parts environment
  • Knowledge of warehousing operations and compliance; Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and RF scanners (future proof)
  • Continuous improvement knowledge and capability in problem solving and project management.
  • Experience with SAP (Expert / Intermediate user)
  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A desire to make a positive impact on our company.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership, interpersonal, organisational, and planning skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, being proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP).
  • A strong work ethic with a 'can do' attitude, flexible and cooperative.
  • Formal training in Warehouse Management (Cert III in Warehousing Operations or equivalent).
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
