Trades Assistant
Summary
The purpose of this position is to service and maintain large engines and compression equipment. You will be required to carry out inspections, serving and repairs in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and Occupational Health and Safety standards. You will also perform major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and ancillary components.

About the Role:
Are you looking to kickstart your career in the oil and gas sector? Enerflex is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Brisbane workshop team as a Trades Assistant.
Responsibilities:
• Refurbish mechanical equipment
• Handle tools and materials in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow instructions from Leads and work collaboratively with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all Enerflex safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic reading , writing and math skills essential
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Previous exposure to industrial equipment is an advantage
• Safety-conscious mindset
