About the Role

Enerflex is seeking a Quality Assurance Systems Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS). This is a pivotal role focused on system-level governance, ISO 9001 compliance, and driving strategic quality initiatives across our Australian operations.



Key Responsibilities:

Systems & Governance:

  • Lead QMS implementation across business units
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards
  • Manage document control and QMS software platforms
  • Drive governance and change management processes

Audit & Compliance:

  • Design and manage internal audit programs
  • Coordinate external audits and certifications
  • Monitor compliance metrics and system performance

Data & Reporting:

  • Develop dashboards and reports for quality KPIs
  • Analyze trends in non-conformance and CAPA effectiveness
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Facilitate workshops to identify systemic improvements
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
  • Standardise processes across operations

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for quality systems
  • Provide training and support on QMS tools and compliance
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and HSEQ teams

 

Core Competencies:

  • Quality Systems Expertise – Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS implementation.
  • Audit & Compliance – Skilled in internal/external audits and compliance tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Ability to analyze quality metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Continuous Improvement – Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and process standardisation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Effective communicator and trainer across teams.
  • Technical Proficiency – Competent in MS Office and QMS software tools.
  • Leadership & Support – Provides coaching and fosters collaboration.
  • Flexibility – Willing to travel to workshops and field sites as needed.

 

  Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in quality, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance
  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 and audit processes
  • Background in oil & gas or resource sectors (highly desirable)
  • Skilled in Lean Six Sigma and business improvement tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel to workshops and field sites
