Roster type: 25 days on 23 off (x2 swings)

What You'll Do
As an E&I Technician/Lead, you'll be at the forefront of commissioning and maintaining cutting-edge engines and compressors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Technical Mastery: Commission new gas compression packages and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct major overhauls and reconditioning of engines and compressors.

Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to ensure smooth job completions and maintain strong relationships.

Reporting Excellence: Create accurate and timely maintenance reports, ensuring all equipment inspections are completed on time.
What We're Looking For
We need someone with the right mix of skills, experience, and qualifications:
Qualifications:

Dual trade qualification in Electrical and Instrumentation
-
Current Electrical Licence
-
Hazardous Area certification
-
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years working on industrial engines and compressors
-
Willingness to work on customer sites around Australia and internationally
Skills:

Basic computer skills
-
Commitment to personal development
-
Awareness of Workplace Health & Safety, Environment, Quality & EEO legislation
Preferred Skills
-
Hands-on experience with Waukesha or Caterpillar gas-fuelled engines and compressors
-
OEM Gas Engine and Compressor training
-
Basic programming and awareness of PLC, HMI, Allen Bradley Controls
Papua New Guinea Requirements:
-
Must hold a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
-
Must have up-to-date vaccinations (or be willing to receive boosters as required)

Willingness to undergo medical clearance .

Availability to work on a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) roster
-
Must be contactable and responsive for travel and roster updates
-
Prepared for remote site conditions and cultural awareness

Completion of all pre-deployment documentation and training
