Treasury Analyst

Summary

The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for providing support for the Company's corporate treasury function.  The corporate treasury responsibilities are to maintain cash and liquidity along with generating supporting details for treasury and corporate reporting records, assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, foreign exchange hedging and liasing with banks and other stakeholders.  Assist with the administration and renewal of the company’s credit facilities, debt and insurance programs.  Work with internal resources to facilitate the issuance of trade finance requirements. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accurate and timely reporting of treasury functions including daily cash, forecasting, and borrowing.
  • Preparation of drawdown, rollover and repayment notices for the syndicated credit facility.
  • Develop relationships with key bank contacts for purpose of coordination of queries and responses between these banks and Enerflex business units.
  • Assist with the insurance renewal process including gathering and consolidating information and liaising with insurance brokers in day-to-day queries regarding Enerflex’s insurance program.
  • Execution of foreign exchange trades (including wire setup for settlement) in compliance with hedging policies and guidelines.
  • Manage bank administration including changes to accounts/signing officers/electronic banking.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision and interact with various finance functions
  • Support the preparation of all debt facility compliance reporting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for intercompany funding transactions.
  • Generate reports for weekly and month end journal entries due to hedging, interest, and other various Treasury driven transactions.
  • Update and maintain the Treasury Management Software (Treasura, Reval, Kyriba and FXall).
  • Other duties, including special projects as assigned by the Senior Treasury Analyst.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate Degree in Commerce (or equivalent) with a major in Accounting or Finance with 2 - 4 years treasury experience required.
  • A professional designation for insurance (CRM, ARM), accounting (CPA) or treasury designation (CTP) would be preferred; or in progress.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to set priorities. 
  • Working knowledge of Treasura, Reval, Fxall, Kyriba and Bloomberg would be an asset.
  • Experience with trade finance, letters of credit or bank guarantees is considered an asset.
  • Previous involvement with insurance program within a corporation would be beneficial.
  • Solid computer skills utilizing accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to converse with all levels of the organization.
  • Desire to work in a streamlined, collaborative, creative team, willingness to complete various tasks that are required.
