Team Lead, Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis
Summary
Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Team Lead, Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis to support the company’s internal financial planning and reporting function. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate forecasts, insightful analysis, and streamlined reporting processes. As a key contributor to the FP&A team, you will collaborate across departments, across regions, support strategic decision-making, and help drive financial performance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to collect, review, and consolidate budget and forecast submissions
- Prepare and manage the Corporate function’s budget and forecast, ensuring alignment with overall financial targets
- Validate accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial data across regions and functions
- Develop and deliver management reporting packages that highlight key variances, trends, and insights
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across the consolidation and planning system
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure consistency across planning systems and reporting outputs
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including timeline management, data consolidation, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain and enhance financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario planning
- Assist in the development of Board and Audit Committee materials under the guidance of the Manager, Internal Reporting and FP&A
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business partners to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
Qualifications
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent), MBA or a CFA preferred
- 8+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency environments
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with planning systems (BPC, SAC, One Stream etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Highly analytical with strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding teams, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability in a fast-paced financial environment
