Forklift Operator


Reporting to the Material Control Supervisor, the purpose of the Forklift Operator includes but is not limited to; coordinate the flow of materials from the segregated areas outside assembly-to-assembly areas when requested.  Other duties are to empty waste dumpsters inside zones, remove waste oil, glycol, etc. to outside holding areas from assembly bays.


With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex’s Calgary Southeast facility.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and sustain a professional working relationship within Material Control department and other departmental personnel.
  • Inspect your machine as per the daily inspection checklists and as per your direct supervisor.
  • Stage material in a neat and orderly fashion in the pre-determined staging area.
  • Operate assigned forklift within specific assigned area
  • Move materials, spools and vessels in between shop bays and yard as directed by assigned area and material control supervision.
  • Maintain forklift cleanliness.


  • 5 years’ experience in a Materials Control role with forklift operation duties, and/or Oil Patch Forklifting or Loader experience
  • Experience lifting 36000 lbs. with the use of a Forklift
  • Moving wide and awkward loads
  • Ticketed fork lift operator
  • Rigging, Zoom Boom and Skid Steer experience is considered an asset
