Intern- Supply Chain

Summary

The Enerflex internship offers students a full-time paid opportunity to work in an environment that fosters real-life experiences, explores career options, and applies your education. You will become a part of key management meetings and participate in meaningful projects. This internship will be based in Houston, TX. You will have exposure and the opportunity to broaden your skills through impactful work, mentored relationships, and will gain real world exposure to different projects on the Enerflex team.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Developing commodity play books for strategic materials
  • Identifying ERP system vendor and material master updates
  • Developing supply chain management reports in Power BI
  • Updating procurement practices, procedures and policies
  • Developing new processes and procedures to make our operations more efficient
  • Developing business cases for procurement systems (bar coding, RFID tagging, supplier portal)
  • Developing methods to quantify and manage supply chain risks
  • Learn how Enerflex specifies and procures materials for packaged equipment projects
  • Gain real-world experience with ERP and Engineering Data Management systems
  • Apply and demonstrate project management, teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

  • Students must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degreed program in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial); Math; Science; Technology; Supply Chain or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • This is an on-site role, transportation is the student’s responsibility
