Senior Parts Warehouse Coordinator (AMS)
Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods to and from the warehouse(s) while providing a superior level of customer service and maintaining the integrity of electronic inventory records. Duties include inventory management, supplier management, purchasing, stocking, tracking job orders/deliveries, forecasting parts demand, general warehouse stocking, transferring and dispersal of various items related to Enerflex Field Operations. forecasting parts demand. This position is responsible for performing advanced functions, procedures, activities, and responsibilities associated with Parts Warehousing independently. Duties include assisting other Coordinators.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Represents the company in a professional manner while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Enerflex values and expectations.
- Operates a company vehicle, hydraulic lift, and forklift to move materials between the warehouse, shop, customers, and vendors as needed. Safely loads and unloads materials and equipment.
- Processes requisitions, work orders, shipping documents, and material issues using company systems. Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying details, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, and other documentation. Transfers materials from receiving or production to storage or designated areas.
- Ensures accurate and timely customer invoicing and billing. Enters required materials and services on all order types and issues inventory promptly to maintain accuracy. Sorts and stocks materials according to established part number sequences and labels items with proper identification. Fulfills requisitions and distributes materials, tools, and stock items as requested. Utilizes SAP and other inventory systems to maintain precise records.
- Prepares products for domestic and international shipment using appropriate packing methods to ensure safe delivery. Determines the most effective shipping methods and manages freight claims when necessary. Leads cycle counts and oversees branch inventory processes to maintain accuracy.
- Sources, quotes, purchases, and bills materials for projects as directed. Secures competitive pricing and terms in accordance with company policies and total cost considerations. Maintains ownership of the procurement process from sourcing through delivery and inventory management, ensuring internal customer needs are met.
- Reviews shipping and receiving activity, bills of materials, routing, picking transactions, and SAP entries to identify and correct errors. Manages variance reports, conducts root cause analysis, and collaborates with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies between system and physical counts. Recommends process improvements to leadership when appropriate.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and team members. Assists with supplier selection, product evaluations, and pricing reviews to maintain competitiveness. Develops and tracks supplier and departmental performance metrics.
- Works toward branch and individual performance goals established with management. Supports peers in resolving complex issues and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Communicates effectively with supervisors, supply chain, and cross functional teams to ensure compliance and operational alignment.
- Adheres to all company HR, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures. Recognizes and follows all safety guidelines. Participates in after hours, weekend, and holiday on call rotations as required, and performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 10+ years' related work experience
- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry including experience with ERP systems preferably SAP
- Knowledge of Caterpillar engine and Ariel compressor, Waukesha and related spare parts preferred.
- Must have a great understanding of the invoicing/billing process (if applicable).
- Must be capable of lifting (up to 50 lbs.), push/pull (up to 70 lbs.) and operating light equipment within a warehouse environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and properly use/operate lift trucks and general equipment used in a warehouse.
- Capable of effective communication with various levels of personnel.
- Possess math aptitude necessary to do inventory calculations.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and deal effectively with interruptions.
- Good customer service skills; displays a professional can-do attitude.
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers to perform fine motor skills; possess good hand/eye coordination; handle or feel; reach with. The employee is frequently required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time; infrequently/frequently get in/out of truck cab; up/down from truck bed; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. employee will also be required to work outside in extreme heat and or cold; the ability to use hands and arms to regularly/frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds; and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
