Supply Chain Coordinator (Local National)
Summary
Responsible for performing supply chain activities such as registering and managing vendors/suppliers, processing and tracking job orders/deliveries, and maintaining track of inventory
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle the process of pre-qualification, evaluation, and re-evaluation of suppliers/vendors and ensure vendor lists are developed and updated
- Identify delays and take required actions(s) to control any possible delay(s) end purchasing critical items as directed
- Prepare comparative statement when applicable and as directed
- Use SAP and vendors' portal webpages to manage parts ordering and access inventories
- Follow up, expedite, and improve deliveries, and ensure order fulfillment and item delivery in a timely manner
- Participate in an effective cost improvement and saving program for purchased materials and services
- Maintain the integrity of purchasing data on the computer-based planning system
- Handle related work orders and parts orders in timely fashion
- Liaise with clients, and coordinate and interface with other technical departments, operations, and contractors to resolve procurement issues
- Assist in developing procurement reviews and analysis during vendor pre-qualification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
- Pursue target costs with suppliers in an assertive manner
- Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of key supplier and departmental performance metrics
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant degree
- Good knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and procedures.
- Negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, ERP (Oracle or SAP) power BI experience will be a plus
- Effective verbal and written skills. Strong Command of English. Arabic is a Plus
