Senior Procurement Engineer

Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the procurement activities supporting the business objectives. Ensure that the purchasing and procurement of goods support quality, cost, inventory, and service level standards.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and process purchase orders of suppliers on SAP and Oracle per procurement policies and procedures
- Source and evaluate suppliers both domestically and internationally to ensure competitive pricing and quality of goods provided
- Prepare weekly open purchase orders and purchase requisition reports with the status update
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and finalize purchase agreements
- Expedite orders and follow up with Freight Forwarders on the shipment of orders from supplier to site, both locally and internationally
- Manage vendor relationships and communicate with suppliers regarding order status, pricing, and product availability
- Evaluate vendor performance based on factors including but not limited to quality, reliability, and delivery times
- Review and finalize yearly contracts and/or blank orders with suppliers
- Manage company accommodation bookings for employees, including but not limited to tenancy agreement renewals, municipality and utility process payments
- Assist employees with accommodation-related inquiries, provide recommendations, and address any issues or concerns
- Liaise with local and regional HSE teams on regular company accommodation inspections and corrective actions if required
- Providing administration, reporting, and coordination support to the department
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant degree.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge and ability to conduct technical offers reading and understanding.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, planning tools and techniques, practices, procedures and contracts.
- Solid knowledge of gas compression, process & treatment and business operations.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite, ERP (Oracle or SAP) procurement tools knowledge.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to details.
- Excellent English communication (oral, written, presentation) & Leadership skills, ability to work in multicultural environment
Physical Requirements
Flexibility is required. 5% travel to visit suppliers' sites. 95% office base environmental exposure
