Testing Coordinator
Summary
The Testing planner will assist managing documentation, tracking equipment availability, and waste pick up.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- In charge of gathering service invoices and forwarding receipts to procurement for purchase orders
- Ensure that all required programs and drawings are available before the commencement of testing by coordinating with the controls department.
- Verify materials such as lubricants/coolants/gases/ rental equipment have been received and in stock for upcoming projects.
- Responsible to order, track and return rental blinds and other materials requested by supervisor.
- Maintain and update all commercial and technical documents.
- Responsible to route and track parts that were found defective or missing during testing.
- Responsible to inventory all calibrated tools and equipment to make sure calibrations are not expired.
- Responsible for sending, tracking, and receiving tools that were sent out for calibration.
- Monitor waste oil/rag / floor dry containers and coordinate pickup by disposal company.
- Verify all testing documents are complete/signed off and saved in corresponding job folders.
- Support and assist Testing Supervisor / leads as needed.
- Track walkdowns are completed on time before testing start date.
- Help make electrical tags when needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0 – 2 years of previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work within standards of accuracy.
- Ability to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedures.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects.
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Physical Requirements
Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
